Privacy Policy

Dailyk ("we", "our", or "the app") is a task management application for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

You can sign in with email/password or Sign in with Apple. When using Sign in with Apple, we receive only the data Apple provides based on your preferences. You can also use the app in guest mode without creating an account.

Location Data

If you enable location-based reminders, the app accesses your precise location to:

Your device's own position is processed on your device and is never sent to our servers: geofence monitoring, including in the background, happens entirely on-device. There is one exception for shared content - if you add a location reminder to a group task, the coordinates you picked for that task are stored with the task on Cloud Firestore and are visible to the other members of that group, because their devices need them to trigger the same reminder. Location reminders on personal tasks never leave your device.

Personal Task Data

Your personal tasks, deadlines, notes, and other content you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not transmitted to external servers.

Group Task Data

When you create or join a group, the following data is stored on Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase):

Group data is shared with all members of the group and synced in real time. Only group members can access the group's data.

Group invitations are shared as a link or QR code. If someone opens an invite link without the app installed, a web page at dailyk.app opens to direct them to the App Store. Like any website, our server may log standard request data such as IP address; the page itself contains no analytics or tracking.

Subscription Data

Dailyk+ is an account-level subscription. Your subscription status (active/inactive, product ID, expiration date) is determined by Apple StoreKit. For groups you own, an active/inactive flag derived from this status is synced to your group documents in Firestore so that other members can see whether a group is active. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we do not collect or store payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.

2. How We Use Your Data

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase's privacy policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We do not show third-party ads inside the app, and we do not follow you across other companies' apps or websites: we never request tracking permission and the app does not access your device's advertising identifier. Ad-campaign measurement relies on Apple's SKAdNetwork together with aggregated reporting from the partners listed above, which is designed so that installs are counted per campaign and cannot be traced back to an individual user.

4. Data Storage and Security

5. Your Rights

You can:

6. Children's Privacy

Dailyk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
